Lisa Vesperman Still, Esq. is Vice President, New England Regional Counsel and MA State Counsel for WFG National Title Insurance Company. Lisa works with WFG’s agents in New England, solving their title puzzles and giving them the knowledge and tricks of the trade to get their deals closed on time.
Lisa had her own legal practice concentrating in “everything real estate” for over 15 years before going to work for a national underwriter 10 years ago. Lisa knows that Agents are busy, often having to review titles quickly, and needing quick answers. Lisa views each title as a puzzle and prides herself on uncovering creative and out of the box solutions so the transactions can close on time. Lisa also believes that knowledge is power, and likes to deliver helpful educational experiences for her agents and their staff, assisting them with their clients and practice. Lisa is an approved Massachusetts Real Estate Instructor by the Board of Registration of Real Estate Brokers and Salespersons.
Lisa graduated cum laude from the College of New Rochelle with a Bachelor of Arts in political science, and a JD from Loyola University School of Law – New Orleans. While in law school, Lisa worked for the Public Law Center, drafting various pieces of legislation in the Louisiana State Legislature, and for the Attorneys General of Louisiana, and assisting the office with appeals to the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals.
Lisa lives with her partner, Steve, in one of the greatest places on Earth – Cape Cod – and treasures exploring all that the Cape has to offer, including walking and hiking little known trails and paths, and the dunes of Wellfleet, Truro and Brewster. Her son Ethan is a Sargent in the Army, stationed in New York, and her daughter Savannah is a freshman at the University of VT. She is secretary of the Brewster Sportsman’s and Civic Club and President of the Nauset Warriors Booster Club.
