Peter - I've used e-closing/Closing Vue for about 6 years and used SoftPro for 15+ years before that. Ultimately, I've been very satisfied with E-closing and openly recommend that folks give them a shot. It's not perfect, but nothing is, and I've been unable to justify the switch to Qaulia simply because of the price. I'm not sure what Closing Vue pricing is now, but when I started, it was like $995 setup and then just $25 per transaction, and we usually pass that through to the client. I've demoed Qualia but never used it regularly. However, I have generally heard good things and have used it as a third party in transactions. Its UI is much "prettier" and more refined than Closing Vue, but all that comes at a cost. Laura's points are valid, and I have experienced similar quirky issues, but they have been rare. In my personal experience, most of the problems have been related to or at least partially a result of user error, and when they weren't, they are things that still should have been caught in a simple review by me, the attorney reviewing the documents, or the paralegal. In six years, I could count on one hand the number of times it's been an issue where we had to resolve something post-closing. Some of the issues are resolved by regularly clearing the browser cache and/or logging out and back in. I've always found tech support to be responsive and helpful, but sometimes they've not had great answers, but have always been willing to help come up with a workaround. They also have excellent training/help resources within Closing Vue. Ultimately, I think it's like anything you implement; you get out of it what you put into it. If you put the time into learning/training how to use it like it's designed, then you'll be pleased with it. The transition took time, but it was not overly burdensome for us. It's a process of discovering how to do something in Closing Vue that you knew how to do in Softpro (seller financing, title insurance prem calculations for NC, construction holdbacks, etc.). However, once you know how to do it, it becomes second nature, much like SoftPro was for me for many years. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions.

Subject: ClosingVue
I have been using Qualia for the last four or so years, and I am generally happy with the product. I am not happy about the price, nor its pricing structure (everything seems to be monetized!)
I had a demonstration of Closing Vue and the very significant cost difference is making me consider a change when my Qualia contract is up.
Does anyone have any experience with ClosingVue, especially as to how it stacks up against Qualia?
Thanks.
Very truly yours,
