Hello everyone;

We just got back from the fabulous TLTA conference in San Antonio and 1 of the first messages I got was "from ALTA"

A guy by the name of Alexander Berg, first claiming to call from ALTA calling in regards to the upcoming ALTA conference in Orlando, to "offer a special deal" my staff at the office took the name and phone number 949-535-1872.

I called him back and now he is offering a "discount for the hotel" (I already paid the hotel) I asked him if he was with ALTA and then he changed the story stating to be part of "The Trade Show Planners", I looked online and could not find anything ....
Is really ALTA or the hotel calling to offer a special discount o top of the rate given to members/exhibitors attending the conference?

I made my reservation directly with the hotel.

I just though I should share this with you, be aware....

Thank you for making us aware of this and posting for others to see! This is not ALTA, and ALTA would never call offering a discount for the conference hotel. In the case that ALTA were ever to call you, it would be coming from a 202 number as we are located in Washington, DC.
