    Are there title insurance companies out there that only write title insurance, no settlements that have a software recommendation?  Thanks!

    I don't use it any longer (I'm at a different title company now), but you may want to look into Genie - it is TPS done by a smaller provider, but you get to work directly with key staff to get setup and maintain the system the way you want it - and it worked well at the last company I worked at, a 2000+ order a month title-only company. They're a cloud based, hosted-only system. A little different than Resware/Qualia/Softpro/Ramquest in their design, but much more efficient when you're not doing settlement.     We're title only and we use SoftPro. While it comes with both title and escrow screens/functions, you can customize the screens so that you only see the title only functions. I used to be a trainer for them for eight years and I do training and configuration/setup as a side business (Select Training Services - https://select.training). Let me know if you want to see the software with the title only screens.

    It's been a while since I've looked at SoftPro's pricing model, but I know they used to sell the license for the title production portion of the system separately from their Escrow/Reconciliation portion. Might be worth asking if they still do that.

    May ask why you want that? Is it price or simplicity? I would think you could just "not use" the portions of any software that you picked.

    I am certainly a fan of both Qualia and SoftPro, but if you'd like to check out some of the smaller platforms, I'd also recommend GSGenie.com. eClosing has been given a major over-haul and is now branded as ClosingVue. That overhaul is awesome and well worth a look. They probably have some of the best pricing around too. SnapClose is another one. Genres and Associates is a reseller of SnapClose and provide consulting services which is a nice bonus. I have contacts at all three and would be happy to put you in touch with someone if you'd like.
