Over the weekend, the Internet went viral. This time the culprit was Zoom's change of Terms of Service, primarily what they can do with users' (your) data to train their AI. This article kept the development diary throughout the weekend and early this week. In response to community feedback, on August 8th, Zoom made updates to its Terms of Service and clarified the company position published by the company officer. Zoom, like many of its competitors, as well as ChatGPT itself, discloses what it can and cannot use for training its model and give the user an option to opt out of sharing or complete use of AI. Most reputable companies put a user of AI into the driver's seat. Nonetheless, you may want to review the newly updated TOS, specifically section 10.2. and 10.4.
