    Janis, great reminder.

Unfortunately, the real estate industry and namely title has had a rough go, and to some extent rightly so.

I would add to this list... if you attract, then keep!  (having not read your primer, yet).

    1. Onboarding Experience -what are the resources day 1 and what will the training look like.  This is a good indicator of a quality run company, typically a solid, organized onboarding process equates to overall business process workflows.
    2. Check-Ins  - they want to know they'll be included and have regular touch-points.  Knowing where their 'head is' is critical, and unlikely to grind through tough spots, if time is not regularly invtested in them.
    3. Tools - people get turned off by file folders, paper, data re-entry (lack of technology).  It's a turn off to put away one's latest version iPhone to work in a flip-phone world.  Since tools help people, not investing tools is indirectly not investing in the people.
    4. Leadership/Culture - it doesn't take long for one to figure out who runs the company formally and informally, and what goes and doesn't go, and where the company is headed.  This is the ultimate primer.
