Plotting software

    We have some requests from clients wanting their legal description plotted out.  Does anyone know of a service or software that would do this more easily than the good old fashioned way?  Thank you.

    I second Net Deed Plotter. It's pretty basic, nothing fancy, but will tell you whether the calls close.

    Deed Plotter is great software.  And it also includes a MS Word Add in so that you can take a m/b description in word, highlight the description, and it will convert it into a drawing.  Sometimes you have to tweak the drawing, but if works well.  You can overlay it onto an image, but I haven't been successful in doing that (operator error on my part, I'm sure.)

    Thank you everyone for your comments.  We are going to give deed plotter a try and have it downloaded for its 30 free trial now.  Glad that we will be able to provide this service to customers more regularly with this software.  I appreciate the insight.

    We use a program called Net Deed Plotter, whereby you type in the calls and it produces a drawing.  I've been very pleased with it - the help function guides you through nicely in learning how to use it.
