  • 1.  Obsolescence in the Title Industry

    Posted 4 days ago

Whew!  Fast and furious changes keep coming to our industry.  Our collective motto should be "Adapt or Die."

Many of the changes are regulatory, based on evolving mindfulness of consumer protection and sophistication of nefarious parties.  We have all had to be more aware of safeguarding our market and learning to run interference against predators.  Additionally, technology has fundamentally changed our day-to-day business in every area of our industry.  Time has been compressed and tasks have become more and more automated.  The application of AI will continue to bring change and keep us on our toes.

It's important for us to remember that while methods continue to grow and shift, our mission is and always has been about people. So, while we must be flexible with our processes to survive and thrive, our focus should continue to be on the people we serve.

Take a look at the following YouTube video to recall how far we've come in the last 40-50 years as encouragement that we can hold onto the useful elements of the past while grabbing the future with gusto.
