Greetings ALTA Community. 

I am an attorney based in Lexington, Kentucky and recently launched a title agency leveraging First American Title as my underwriter. I am seeking any advice that the ALTA Community might have for someone just getting started in this industry. For context, I have 7 years of legal experience mostly in transactional law and have conducted multiple closings (title insurance was outsourced to a third party). I am also a real estate investor so I have had experience on both sides of the transaction. It is also worth noting that I have already been placed on multiple lenders' preferred vendor lists and have fostered close relationships with 4-5 realtors that have said they will send me business.  Any and all feedback is very much appreciated.

Below I have provided some of the steps that I have already taken:

1. Purchased Qualia Core + Connect title production software.
2. Signed a lease on an office building.
3. Got licensed as a Notary Public in Kentucky.
4. I have taken multiple ALTA courses.
