It's time to say goodbye

I will be leaving SitusAMC (the acquirer of my firm String Information Services) at the end of this month. 

This is a bittersweet moment, for so many reasons. 

The 17 years since I started String have been a wild ride and the mother of all roller-coasters - and seem like a lifetime, given everything that's happened that 's happened in the mortgage industry. 

From our first days, what's stood out at String have been the people and the culture - and the unique combination of focus, loyalty, integrity and work ethic that it represents. 

I'm grateful and lucky that I had a remarkable team by my side, many of them from inception. 

We've grown together and grown the company together.

I'm proud of all of our accomplishments - we've helped to make our customers lives a lot simpler, efficient and more productive. 

I'm fortunate that the company is in great hands - the operations team is the best in the industry, supported by the peerless sales duo of Joe Salmons and Rob Dace.

To top it all, we're backed by the largest private company in the mortgage services space and their awesome team - Michael Franco, Tom Britt and a murderer's row of talent.

Thanks to this awesome, fantastic team we'll still end up being profitable in 2022 despite the downturn in the real estate market.
