I believe that this number is probably higher in the title industry. Not only are we not terribly efficient in our processes but we spend so much time focusing on underwriting requirements and state/federal regulations, we ignore our E&O liability. Mistakes and inefficient processes not only incur the cost of curing mistakes (which in our profession can be quite costly) but can also open you up to customer complaints or lawsuits, employee complaints or lawsuits and loss of business.
Title companies seem to all run the same way. People find talent and passion for the industry, so they open their own title company telling themselves that they will do it better than their previous employers, but they all seem to operate the same way. We all tend to set up our offices with the same list of positions and the same workflow. In the meantime, we are all trying to cut expenses due to the downturn in the economy.
What if I told you I could help you create a better workflow which utilizes your team more efficiently and cuts down on those costly mistakes?
I'd love to set up a short phone or virtual call with anyone to discuss how I can help you do this. In the meantime, I welcome your feedback in this forum!
