I occasionally represent buyers in a conveyance transaction. In the past I have received an "Occasional Use" waiver. I understand that is no longer available now. I am a licensed Title agent with First National Title and now I am representing one BUYER. The closing is set for the end of March. I have ordered the title exam and would like to start preparing the Title policy. What do I need to provide to ALTA to get the permission to write one policy without paying Alta a fee, [owners policy only because it is a cash transaction, no lender]?
Thank you.
Best Regards,
Attorney Patricia Bloom-McDonald
