I got this query from my friend Kevin, a small biz owner in Fairfax, VA. 

His ask: "We own space in our building which was originally recorded as 4 separate
units. Over the years, we have modified them and have turned the space into
three separate suites. 

Seems like it would make things easier down the road if I re-recorded this
property as 3 lots instead of 4 but it seems as though that may be a huge
project, according to initial information from The Land Records Department
of the Circuit Court."

Does anyone have insights or recommendations to offer Kevin?
